If it is an older chiller I would suggest you budget money to the replace the unit. If it is relatively new (10 years) the repairs should solve the problem. If properly repaired there is no reason this problem should repeat.

Question

we have in the hospital carrier chillar type
but after 6years we find coil leaking
and when the maintance people try to remove the compressor
they found water mixed with gas comeing when they take the compressor out
but what happened after that they repair the compressor
and repair the coil
my question is to know if this problem will come agian
mean we have to replace the coil or mantaining it enought
and should the water going (in) to the chiller should be treated or not?
