Responsibilities

Perform general and preventive maintenance of HVAC and piping systems according to the preventive maintenance master plan

Take corrective actions deemed necessary after the preventive maintenance of a system or a system failure; maintain the repair parts inventory and the CMMS

Respond to customer service calls, perform related tasks and make the necessary follow-up

Escort the contractors and supervise their work. Ensures contractors respect all contract’s requirements

Ensure compliance with the health and safety and environmental legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and practices

Work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

Stationary diploma with a class 4 certificate

Practical knowledge of safety and fire prevention codes

A refrigeration operator class “B” certificate is essential

Experience and thorough knowledge of the computerized control systems (DDC)

Some experience as an industrial mechanic or building operation would be an asset

Ability to work alone and within a team

Knowledge of the Windows environment and of Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, AutoCad and Visio

Strong motivation, very good customer service skills, resourcefulness, team spirit and flexibility.
