RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate controls at both the client and corporate level are implemented and adhered to for projects-related purchasing and payables including open PO and invoice on hold management.

Responsible for PIDR management and Data integrity (Billing exception report management, billing integrity and on-time Billing).

Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the monthly and annual data transfer to PWGSC including the preparation of ad-hoc reports for the client as required.

Responsible for Preparation and Integrity of Monthly performance reports.

Responsible for the closing of projects and any related variance analysis and journal entries thereof.

Responsible for monthly journal entries to book project revenues and cost of goods sold.

Perform Variance analysis and prepare internal ad-hoc reports as required.

Assist in coordination and data collection for internal and external audits.

Ensure that the appropriate controls at both the client and corporate level are implemented and adhered to for projects-related financial reporting and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.A or B.com in accounting and working toward a formal accounting designation (CMA, CGA)

Operational experience in Project/ Construction accounting

Operational experience in Real Estate property management an asset

Working knowledge of JD Edwards One World/PeopleSoft Enterprise One ERP and asset (or similar ERP system)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required

Strong Communication Skills

Multiple-task capability, functional and operational flexibility

Team player

Ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearance
